- Understand the difficulties that lie ahead, (Rejection / Scepticism etc)
- Write up goals / dreams – your WHY list!
- Understand M.P. basics and different positions, (25% 35% 42% 50%) and how many sales required, people to recruit etc, HQ details.
- Choose a position – get income story as quickly as possible.
- Understand the cold & warm market, know all the methods.
- Write up circle of influence.
- Go to STS / Home Training / see bigger picture & different tools, meet other Herbalife Distributors.
- Buy products at the chosen position.
- Shake Party = make sales & recruit & learn. (warm market)
- Wear button / do survey’s / walk n talk / flyers / internet (cold market)
- Invite people to HOM or Home Presentation (mine or theirs)
- Duplicate all the above for new downline!

WHAT TO EXPECT - doing Herbalife business
Herbalife is not a get-rich-quick scheme, even though its not unusual for some individuals to grow massive incomes in a very short period of time.
The reality check of healthy stable earnings, that will continue to grow, will more often than not, be in 6 figures for those who have fun working seriously & consistently for 3 to 6 years.
Above all else, Herbalife is about results, and retail is the name of the game. All success in Herbalife is based on the amount of people consuming the products. The key is: bring value to the marketplace!
SOME CUSTOMERS WILL:
Buy and then disappear!
Buy and disappear…and then re-emerge to buy again.
Buy every now and again, in an inconsistent fashion.
Buy consistently.
Buy and recommend to their friends, family & colleagues.
Buy and fall in love with the products.
Buy and eventually want to do this as a business.
Once you have someone "hooked" on the products thanks to the amazing results and the delicious tastes, it is inevitable that you will experience the forever business process!
Based on the law of attraction, and leading by example, most product user’s will treat the products like you do, if you "scrounge" they will "scrounge"! And in more cases than not, your customer’s will buy the product you treat as your favourite flavour, (solution to that = love all 5 flavours of shake).
WHEN PROSPECTING, REMEMBER:
- Some people, you can talk to all day, but no matter what you say, they just won’t buy! Watch closely for this, so you don’t waste time, learn quickly, and move on…assume the 'Next' attitude. Stick to simple facts & testimonials!
- Some people will buy no matter what you say, they are already decided, also watch for this, keep it simple & close quickly...before you talk them out of it!!
- The best way to make a sale of the product is not to ‘sell’, stick to the facts, and be a story teller of the results others have had with the products, (and your own story). Talk from the heart, don’t push or pressurize the person you talk to, treat everyone with the strategy: if now is the right time, they will start the products! The key word at Herbalife is SHARE, share your results, share your passion, and do your best, just don't sell!
IN RECRUITING A DISTRIBUTOR, EXPECT 3 TYPES:
1) Wholesale buyers.
2) Part-time distributors.
3) Business Builder’s.
All of the people you deal with that are interested on the business will fall into one of these 3 categories. Distribute you time accordingly with the ones who "deserve" more time, not the ones who "need" more time!! Eventually the ones who become (3), will run away with it, once properly trained/coached, you have to keep up / catch up with them...a VERY GOOD problem to have!
ALL VOLUMES, (for PROMOTIONS & QUALIFICATIONS) ARE BASED UPON A MONTHLY BASIS.

Work From Home: Wellness Evaluations
Becoming a Wellness Coach, takes into consideration many principles, that, only through several trainings, and coach the coach sessions, will performing the Wellness be of worth to the general public, and thus effective in making a living from it. In basic terms, a rudimentary understanding of Herbalife products, and its 27year old training system, (that has stood the test of time), is a keen must for all those who wish to work from home as a Wellness Coach. A motto coined by Herbalife founder Mark Hughes, "Use, Wear, Talk", has remained as Herbalife's strongest method of operation: Use the Products / Wear the Button / Talk to People. And it is also that simple for Wellness Coach.

Shake Party Concept
I feel it best to share what I consider, the most powerful sales tool, the "Shake Party" with wellness concept. This is the ideal concept for people that want to grow a "work from home" business, in minimal time, and without affecting your current circumstances.
With the numbers mentioned, I based these on the average of all shake parties I helped others to organize in their own home.
I was the MC at each shake party, and measured everyone for wellness, and explained the products. The house owner simply made the shakes, and helped all guests feel comfortable.
Due to the power of such a concept, (myself providing all the information in such a way that I was not chasing a sale) the guests felt much more at ease, in desiring from the house-owner the product for their own obvious health benefit.
So for those who want to build a Herbalife work from home business, shake parties are by far the best tool to get started!
